As promised, we told you that as we obtained new information about Regulation Z we would pass this information on to you. Due to the new Regulation Z requirements, the statements printed for your members will be required to have new verbiage on them. The final details have not been defined as to what this verbiage will include, but it is possible that information regarding interest rates and fees may be required to be displayed. The proposed effective date for the changes to statement verbiage is July 10th, 2010. We are letting you know this information now so you can plan accordingly and not purchase more statement paper than you can use by the July implementation of the redesigned member statement forms. As always, we will provide you with updates and information as we receive it.
