Disaster Recovery Level 3
Speaking of disaster recovery, it’s been about a year now since Hurricane Ike swept through the Gulf area of the United States. The Gulf region was not the only area affected by the destruction from this Hurricane; there were many parts of the Midwest that experienced flooding and wind storms as a result of Ike. The repercussions of this storm were a not-so-friendly reminder of the importance of having a good Disaster Recovery Plan and CUC is here to help with that! As many of us learned during the week that Ike struck, having a detailed and well organized disaster recovery plan is essential to operating smoothly in the event of a real disaster. If you are currently on a Level 1 or 2 Disaster Recovery Plan, you may want to consider upgrading your service to Level 3.

We have been receiving calls and emails regarding interest in eStatements so we thought it would be a great idea to give a brief overview of this product in our newsletter. eStatements are a convenient and cost saving alternative to old style paper statements and requires little set-up on the credit union’s side.
