DataBase Releases
There are several updates included in this newest DataBase Release. We felt that in order to give you what you need and what you want, a robust collection of enhancements was in order. They range from: a new report to summarize loans by credit score, an enhancement to the BSA Report to allow printing of detailed transaction history by social security number, and multiple enhancements to the MPFL Transaction Code. We recommend that you visit our support website and print off the May 2009 DataBase Release Notes and watch the instructional videos prior to scheduling your appointment with us to begin the installation. Just call or email Anita in the Customer Support area and she will be glad to schedule a time with you to assist with installation.
Account Purge
From time to time, doing an inactive account purge is necessary. This will purge all inactive, zero-balance share and loan accounts dated before the first day of the current year. It is important to note, though, that this account purge should not be attempted until May or after when all IRS processing (including 5498s) is completed. By doing this purge, all inactive, zero-balance accounts will be removed from the MPFL screens and from your IRS files for the next year. Doing this helps to reduce clutter and keep your records accurate.
