Adding to the ranks
Bright and sunny Orlando, Florida was the site for the spring event April 17 & 18. The Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport played host for the event. The new venue included speakers from I-Pay Technologies and Sedona MRM Software.
Thursday evening kicked off with a reception and dinner at the Hotel. The attendees appeared to be in good spirits. There was plenty of laughter to go around.
The main event kicked off Friday morning with a State of the Credit Union address by Jack Sowder, CUC President.
Next up was Eric Isham from I-Pay Technologies. Eric explained that credit unions with bill pay increase their retention rate of members from 40-50% to about 90% with their bill pay solutions. Eric can be reached at eric.isham@paymybills.com
David Newman and Ginger Gagen from Sedona MRM Software informed the group on MRM (Member Relationship Management) software and the benefits of having it. David can be reached at david.newman@sedonacorp.com
Ryan Crone, Training Manager presented the training portion of the Database Release Seminar including a discussion centered on the new CUC, Inc. website. The new website includes many exciting features to assist with keeping the lines of communications open between credit union staff and CUC staff. The most notable features are the File Manager, Knowledge Base, and Issue Tracking. Take some time to review all it has to offer.
Jay Sowder, Programming Manager covered some Freedom 3 updates including the following: 1. New collateral insurance expiration report 2. Enhancements to online banking, shared branching and online atm processing. 3. Escrow processing for mortgage loans. 4. Dormant account processing and reporting.
CUC management hopes that all attendees found the new format both enjoyable and educational.
